For Camas, Washougal & Clark County homeowners

Independent Roof & Attic Assessments

An honest set of eyes on your roof — from someone whose only job is to show you what's actually there.

What happens during an assessment

An assessment is about 45 minutes on-site. I'm there to see your roof the way I'd want someone to look at my own — slowly, in order, with photos of anything worth talking about. You don't need to do anything to prepare. If I can get to the attic, great. If not, we work with what's accessible.

What happens after

Once I'm off the roof, we sit down together — kitchen table, front porch, wherever works — and walk through every photo in person. This is the part most "free inspections" skip. It's also where the value is.

How this is different from a contractor's free inspection

Most "free roof inspections" are sales calls. That's not a knock — it's just the model. The crew comes out because they want to sell you a roof, and that incentive shapes what they tell you.

Typical contractor

Comes out to sell you a roof — that's their job. If your roof needs work, they're the right call. If it doesn't, they'll often still try.

This assessment

I'm there to look at it and tell you the truth. If your roof has another 8 years in it, that's what you'll hear. If something's wrong, I'll show you exactly what and exactly where.

You decide what to do with the information.
